Loren F. Gilley - Video Producer & Photographer
Loren served in the US Army Reserves from 1996 - 2005. During that time he traveled to a number of other countries including Kuwait, Iraq, and South Korea. In 2003, he was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. There he served as a forklift operator, Radio Operator, and Team Leader for a Horizontal Construction platoon. The deployment was made light over the holiday season as Loren gained his first professional directing credit, a musical titled “I’ll be home for Christmas.” Prior to his deployment, Loren met and became engaged to his wife, whose love and encouragement allowed him to pursue his true passion, filmmaking. His introductory education was obtained from Houston Community College, where he earned his A.A.S. in filmmaking. Following that experience, he was accepted into the prestigious American Film Institute Conservatory. AFI's Master's program further fostered his appreciation for the discipline and craft that is visual storytelling. Over the past couple of years, Loren has worked in both Videography and Still Photography. His work has taken him all over the globe, from Beijing to London; South Africa to Costa Rica. His demeanor and professionalism are always noted and appreciated. With an easy smile and quiet intelligence he is an incredible asset to any production.
With a love of story and fascination with human nature, I'm always looking to expand my world and that of others. Contact me and see what's next on my plate, or, lets chat about what you are looking to share with me and the world. ~ Loren
